The juno awards announce it’s latest performers

It’s now less than a month away and the hype only continues to build as The JUNO Awards have just announced the latest round of performers that will be taking Hamilton by storm.

Alanis Morissette, deadmau5, Lights, and Sam Roberts Band are all confirmed to take the stage on March 15 for CTV’s live broadcast. These Artist will join headliners, Hedley, Kiesza, MAGIC! and Sean Mendez as they shake up some of the best and loyal music fans in the country. Phil King, President of CTV, Sports, and Entertainment Programming is ready to make an impact on the Canadian music scene as he told The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) how CTV is looking forward to “spotlighting Hamilton and sharing the infectious spirit of its hometown crowd with viewers across the country.” Lights and Sam Roberts Band also announced their excitement this afternoon on twitter:

  The latest release of her music video “Running with The Boys” has already blown up online and is a strong contender for her JUNO performance.  

The JUNO’s are returning to their first fan-attended arena venue in downtown Hamilton. JUNO Week takes off with SiriusXM JUNO Awards Kickoff on Thursday March 12. SiriusXM has teamed up with CARAS to present Juno winners The Sheepdogs, with Tokyo Police Club and Say Yes. All proceeds from the concert will go to MusiCounts—Canada’s music education charity for youth.
