Throw Back Thursday is here once again and we’re taking a look back at some of the most talked about fashion trends from Movie Awards past! Check out our picks for ‘The Best and Worst Dressed of 2012: MTV Movie Awards Edition’!
Andrew Garfield was looking hotter than ever in his semi-casual black button down tee, paired with grey slacks and brown laceless wingtips. He was mixing every shade and adding colour with his blue and orange striped tie. He took geek-chic to a whole new level. It’s no wonder Emma Stone likes him so much.
Looking fit in Chanel, Jessica Biel took the pre-wedding planning a little too far when she stepped onto the red carpet wearing this all white, body hugging, frumpy in the arms mini. (We’re not even sure this cotton ball look would have passed in the 70s). Perhaps she had already picked out her gorgeous pink Giambattista Valli wedding gown and simply wanted at least one special day in all white.
We’re not even sure we know exactly what happened here—but we loved it! If you can rock a baby blue onesie on a red carpet (feet included) you can do ANYTHING!
Shailene Woodley (up for Best Kiss this year) received some bad reviews in 2012, despite taking home her first MTV Movie Award for Breakthrough Performance. The first-time winner was all smiles but her glowing skin and pearly whites didn’t exactly match the rest of her look. Opting for a Stella McCartney jumpsuit that simply didn’t sit right, while rocking the messiest of messy braids, Woodley unfortunately landed herself on our Worst Dressed of 2012 list with this number.
This one is a no brainer—she not only has Tatum tacked onto her name, but she gets to walk the red carpet with a Tatum on her arm. Oh, and she looks absolutely stunning in her Lublow split colour dress, while keeping it cool with her high ponytail. We see what Channing sees.
As the daughter of Hulk Hogan, Brooke has had her entire life to master the art of public appearances and she still can’t figured it out! In all honesty, this look would have landed her on our Best Dressed list if she wore it in 2010, but she didn’t. The only other time and place this dress should ever be worn—on stage for ‘Dancing With The Stars.’ (You never know, anything is possible).
