Sam smith is the king of the 2015 grammys: bow down
All hail Sam Smith, King of the 2015 Grammy Awards.
Smith won the most Grammys on Sunday night (Feb. 8), taking home four awards. He nabbed the titles of Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album. He was also nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
Not only did he take home ALLL the awards, but he also captivated the Staples Center audience on his duet of “Stay With Me” with Mary J. Blige, which had even more weight now that the song had won him four Grammys. Watch below if you feel like getting emotional:
Beck’s Morning Phase won three Grammys, including Album of the Year, Best Rock Album and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. Pharrell also won three awards with Best Music Video, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Urban Contemporary Album.
