Much of “The Challenge“‘s entertainment value is the drama that erupts off the field, but “Rivals II” includes some incredible competitors whose moves keep us on the edge of our seats, too. Each week, we’re pointing out the highs and lows of every mission, so you can watch every triumph, and every COMPLETE AND UTTER FAILURE, on a loop forever and ever. You win some, you lose some…
The Challengers have put their brawn and grit to the test so far on “Rivals II,” but a team can’t survive on athletics alone, and last night’s “Frenemies” competition forced the duos to rack their brains for answers to trivia questions about their counterparts. Correct answers meant remaining safely suspended above the sea, while wrong ones meant joining the fishes.
When TJ had exhausted his cue cards, Paula and Emily proved — once again — that they were the team to beat, and Leroy and Ty racked up Win #1. Sadly, some other teams weren’t so lucky — take a look at the episode’s high and low points on loop!
WIN SOME: Mount Olympus’ newest homeowners, Paula and Emily, won their fifth mission after a dominating performance in “Frenemies,” in which they demonstrated the characteristics of true friendship by practically reading each other’s minds. And the win came with the opportunity to make Cara Maria scowl after the team collectively deemed her the fakest member of the house.
LOSE SOME: After soaring high last week, Theresa and Jasmine sadly slipped out of the competition upon their first trip to The Jungle. The ladies started off ahead of Jemmye and Camila in “Catch 22,” but quickly lost their footing, and with a couple of unfortunate missteps came their elimination from the game. We’ll miss ya, girls!
