Lea michele posts touching tribute to remember cory monteith on the anniversary of his death
The former “Glee” star took to Twitter, sharing what appears to be a personal photo of Cory driving with the sunlight shining in his face. Accompanying the photo was a touching message saying that today everyone remembers the “laughter and joy” he brought to their lives.

Cory and Lea, whose debut album, Louder, was largely inspired by her costar, met on the set of “Glee” and dated for two years. In 2014, Lea opened up, saying that the two were planning their future together before he died.
“We talked about a lot of things. We talked about children and what we would look like when we grew old and who would be fat and how we would stay thin. We talked about where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do,” she told Glamour UK. “We were done. We were it. When you’re at that place in your life with someone, you talk about everything. But today I feel like I was given the best part of Cory and I’m thankful for that.”
In May, Lea also posted a message along with a picture of Cory behind the drums on what would have been his thirty-third birthday.

Cory was found dead at just 31 years old from a toxic mix of alcohol and heroin in a Vancouver, Canada, hotel room in 2013.
On the two-year anniversary of his death, fans, along with Lea, flooded social media to remember the talented star, trending the hashtag #2YearsWithoutCory.
