Johnny bananas thinks ‘challenge’ ex nany needs dr. Phil, thomas could see being happy with hailey
“Battle of the Exes” proved to be a winning formula for “Challenge” vet Johnny Bananas, who split the first-place prize with former fling Camila in the conclusion of the game’s first installment, but will lightning strike twice for JB in the show’s upcoming sequel? In the “He Said/She Said” clip below, which finds him paired with friend-turned-hookup-buddy Nany, it’s safe to say “Battle of the Exes 2” will be an uphill battle for Johnny BaNany.
“He was looking at me like a piece of ass,” Nany recalls in the clip below, after explaining that she and Johnny first met as friends after “Real World: Las Vegas” filming wrapped. “I don’t think he respects me that much.”
Johnny, who’s taken aback by his partner’s out-of-left-field hostility (“I think Nany could benefit from a lesson with Dr. Phil,” he quips), is nevertheless sure she’s happy to have wound up with the teammate she did.
“I think she’s thinking this about me: Thank you, God, for pairing me with the most accomplished Challenger in this game — let me see if I can ride his coattails to the end,” Johnny remarks.
“Accurate,” Nany concedes.
“Real World: Ex-Plosion” cast members Thomas and Hailey, on the other hand, don’t have a single notch on their “Challenge” belts between them. But considering their romantic history, and that they’ve been on-and-off since high school, Thomas could see some winning chemistry ultimately brewing between them.
“We’ve hurt each other, and we’ve made each other extremely happy, and there’s definitely potential for both those things to happen in this ‘Challenge,’” Thomas says in the clip above.
