In case you thought “Fuller House” was some exuberant fever dream your brain cooked up, think again. The Netflix revival series is ramping up production, and while the Tanners (er, the Fullers?) haven’t officially started taping yet, they’ve definitely started prepping.
“I visited Stage 26 today at Warner Bros. Now the home of a Fuller House! #cutitout,” Dave Coulier posted on Instagram yesterday (June 23), showing off his fancy new ride: a “Fuller House” production golf cart. Uncle Joey is on set, people.
We know Coulier will reprise his role as Uncle Joey in the first episode of the Netflix series, which fellow star Lori Loughlin has described as a full cast reunion. Well, with the exception of the Olsen twins. (It still hurts.) The episode will serve as a launching pad for the new series, which will focus on DJ Fuller, née Tanner, as she navigates life with her two pre-teen boys after the death of her husband. Coulier will recur throughout the series.
Last month, Candace Cameron Bure confirmed to People that “Fuller House” will begin shooting in July in front of live studio audiences.
Her “Fuller House” costars, Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler), were on set a few weeks ago to prep for the start of filming. “Out to lunch at Warner Bros and we have an ’official’ golf cart!!” Sweetin excitedly tweeted.
Excuse us, but we’re feeling very ~nostalgic~ after seeing that iconic font back on the Warner Bros. lot. Now, where’s that San Francisco backdrop?!
