Ed sheeran was the real star of the 2015 mmvas

We can’t deny that despite all the fun, Ed Sheeran put it work tonight.

Along with being a superstar co-host along with Much VJs Liz Trinnear and Tyrone ‘T-Rex’ Edwards, the British singer performed not once, but TWICE during the show. Here’s a look at his best moments.

Ed had one of our favourite red carpet arrivals this year, rolling up the the awards in an old-school Batmobile, upstaging some of the most glamourous celebs.¬†The ‘I See Fire’ singer definitely let us know early that the hero we need, AND the host we deserve!

As the night’s guest co-host, Ed was responsible for many of the intros, bringing out the likes of Shawn Mendes, Jason Derulo, and more to the MMVA stage.

Our favourite? When Ed introduced The Weeknd with the help of Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, and a fluffy little kitten!

And when Ed wasn’t introducing, he was being introduced!

We started off ‘Night of the Sheeran’ with a performance of ‘Photograph,’ complete with string quartet, piano, and backing band.

Later on, we were treated to performance number two, ‘Thinking Out Loud,’ leading into Jason Derulo’s ‘Want To Want Me’ performance that rounded out the whole night.

Apart from hitting the stage to had out awards and play for us, Ed was invited back up to accept his awards for Best International Artist and Most Buzzworthy International Artist. Though he was nominated in 2013 and 2014, these are his first MMVA wins.
