On Monday night, the most popular musicians in the industry were showered with trophies and praises celebrating their accomplishments from the past year. But once all that Grammys hullabaloo was over, it was time for everyone to resume doing what they do best: roasting the hell out of celebrities on Twitter.
Jimmy Kimmel recruited an all-star cast of artists for the third installment of “Mean Tweets – Music Edition,” during which poor A-listers self-deprecatingly share the nasty things people have said about them behind the cloak of the internet.
No one’s feelings are spared: Not pop stars Demi Lovato, Meghan Trainor, or Ed Sheeran. Not bands like One Direction, The Killers, or Mumford & Sons. Not hip-hop heavyweights Drake,Common, and Wiz Khalifa (and no, Wiz’s tweet wasn’t from Kanye). And not even veteran performers Charlie Wilson, James Taylor, and Lionel Richie.
Let’s just say, if you ever thought Drake resembles “a ferret with a baby afro,” or assumed 1D were no more than “little boys with gross hair and skinny jeans,” you’re not alone.
