Dmx is being accused of robbing a man at a gas station
DMX has faced plenty of legal woes in the past, and if what a New Jersey man is claiming turns out to be true, there could be more on the way.
According to WABC-TV in New York, a 21-year-old says that DMX and his bodyguards robbed him of $3200 early Sunday morning.
After stopping at a gas station and trying to go into the store, the man and his friend headed back to their car when it was closed.
“They probably thought we had a gun, because [my friend] has his hand in his pocket — and that’s how people carry if they have one,” the man, who didn’t want to be identified, told ABC. “That’s why he asked him what was in his pocket. Then he was like, ‘Nah, there’s nothing in my pocket.’ Then he showed him the money.”
The man says he had just cashed a paycheck, which is why he had so much cash on him — until he didn’t.
“DMX took the money, but the bodyguard was the one who glanced us at the handle of his gun,” he said. “He’s like, ‘Come on, yo, we out, we out,’ talking to his entourage.”
Based on a tweet X posted on Saturday, it looks like he was in Jersey for a performance that night.
