Junior year has been an absolute roller coaster for Jenna Hamilton and her Palos Hills High School friends, but the “Awkward” ride ain’t stopping anytime soon. Fans were pumped to learn earlier this year that the show secured a fourth season, and now — thanks to a tweet from Greer Grammer, the actress behind lovable airhead Lissa — we can see that the wheels are officially in motion. SOUNDS LIKE SENIOR YEAR’S A-COMIN’!
“First table read for season 4 of @MTVAwkward this morning!” Greer posted from set. “SUCH great stuff is coming! Get excited!” According to her digital snapshot, which features a couple of scripts, the season’s second episode is called “Listen To This!” and, if our powers of observation aren’t failing us, it’ll follow a premiere called “No Woman Is An Island.” Hmm! We’ll have to let our brains stew a bit on those titles, but as long as neither involves a J-Town boho-pothead relapse, we’re completely on board!
