What will it take to turn a rowdy, mischievous girl into a true lady? MTV aims to find out with The Girls of Hedsor Hall.
One dozen misbehaving American girls will be shipped off to England, where the breeding of proper young ladies is considered something of a science. Once there, these girls will be given a rare opportunity to completely change their lives at Hedsor Hall, a proper English finishing school, under the tutelage of headmistress Gill Harbord and disciplinarian Rosemary Schrager.
But there's even more incentive for absorbing proper grooming techniques and learning which fork to use during the salad course: one of these diamonds in the rough will walk away from this experience with a $100,000 trust to go along with their education in sophistication.
Also on hand to help with the lessons at Hedsor Hall will be visiting American instructor Tara Conner. The former Miss USA knows first hand the consequences of out-of-control behavior. She nearly lost her crown because of her partying ways, but was given a second chance by Donald Trump.
The Girls of Hedsor Hall -- self-described "nymphomaniac" Brianna, heavy drinker Samantha, bad-tempered Margie, high school-dropout Jenna, gutter-mouthed Lillian, wild child Amanda, party girl Kim, snobby bitch Jen M, foul-mouthed Maddy, booty-baring punkette Hillary, bar brawling Paola, and Jennifer, the self-proclaimed "Blackout Queen of North Carolina" -- will have a chance to smooth their rough edges and reform the behavior that's made them notorious.
Under the stern teachings of Harbord, Schrager and Conner, these aspiring ladies will be schooled in everything from style to proper etiquette. In their quest, they'll hopefully discover that with the right tools, they can become ladies.
In each episode, The Girls of Hedsor Hall will be taught an important lesson -- from how to make a good first impression and always look their best to how to maintain a positive attitude and maintain composure in the face of conflict. These humbling exercises will come with harsh critiques from their mentors, as well as the possibility of elimination based on their performance.
In the end, one of these girls will undergo a total transformation. The journey will be one that forces each of The Girls of Hedsor Hall to answer tough questions about who they are and what they hope to become. They will strive to show the world their full potential and give up their misbehaving ways. But it won't be easy to become the one to attain a diploma from Hedsor Hall ... and the $100,000 trust that goes with it.

THE CAST
The Girls of Hedsor Hall | Gill Harbord
Hedsor Hall headmistress Gill Harbord was trained at Constance Spry School in London. She is a nationally accredited flower arranging specialist and has spent all of her teaching career at finishing schools in the United Kingdom.
She is working with Hedosr Hall chef and teacher Rosemary Shrager to teach young women how to be proper ladies, through etiquette, cooking, deportment and many other subjects. She evaluates each girl who goes through the curriculum at Hedsor Hall and won't hesitate to remove any of the students who aren't falling into line.
She has succeeded in taming some of England's most outlandish bad girls. Now she has been giving the task of improving girls from the United States as well. But does she have the stuff necessary to tame this pack of wayward Yanks?
The Girls of Hedsor Hall | Tara Conner
A native of Russell Springs, Kentucky, Tara Conner is a beauty queen who was crowned Miss USA 2006, and has also competed in the prestigious Miss Teen USA and Miss Universe pageants. It was the realization of a lifelong dream -- and also a ticket out of small-town life.
In late 2006, Conner became the center of a public scandal when news reports claimed she had been drinking underage, tested positive for the use of cocaine and kissed Miss Teen USA Katie Blair, among other things. Donald Trump, the owner of the Miss Universe Organization, called Tara out on her disgraceful behavior in front of all of America, but then he gave her a second chance and let her retain her crown.
Conner has previously appeared on MTV in the series Pageant Place, where she served as a sort of "house mother" and mentor to roommates Miss Universe Riyo Mori, Miss USA Rachel Smith and Miss Teen USA Katie Blair.
The Girls of Hedsor Hall | Rosemary Shrager
Rosemary Shrager is an English chef and teacher at Hedsor Hall. A natural extrovert and communicator, Rosemary's professional career includes a period working for Pierre Koffman at the famous Tante Claire restaurant in London, as well as a period working for acclaimed chef Jean-Christophe Novelli.
She has written two cookbooks, Rosemary -- Castle Cook and Rosemary Shragers's School for Cooks. Rosemary runs her cooking School from Swinton Park in North Yorkshire, England.
The Girls of Hedsor Hall | Amanda
This blonde New Yorker's lifestyle is far from that of a lady as strip poker, beer bongs and wet t-shirt contests are a regular part of her life -- punctuated with burps, snorts and farts, of course.
Amanda's father is in a wheelchair as a result of a DUI accident. He worries constantly that his "wild child" is headed down the same path unless she manages to reform her hard partying ways. Will a stint in Hedsor Hall provide the change that's needed in her life?
The Girls of Hedsor Hall | Brianna
A self-described "nymphomaniac," Brianna comes to Hedsor Hall from a small town in Pennsylvania. She is a "webcam model" who spends her days stripping for paying customers.
Brianna is desperate to improve her life. Her line of work has ruined her relationship with her parents; they barely speak these days. She feels that she looks sexy on the outside but feels terrible on the inside. But is she willing to embrace the steps needed to become arespectable woman?
The Girls of Hedsor Hall | Hillary
A phone operator from Austin, Texas, Hillary goes out partying almost every night of the week. This pink-haired chick likes to get crunk and doesn't hesitate to show off her bare booty when she gets her drink on.
Growing up with three brothers, Hillary is rough around the edges and drinks like she's one of the boys. Now she wants to change her ways so she can be closer to her disapproving family. Can Hillary lose the tomboy image at Hedsor Hall and learn how to behave like a real lady?
The Girls of Hedsor Hall | Jen
Working in the fashion business in New York City, Jen M considers herself part of New York's elite "in" crowd. She thinks she is better than everyone and admits to being a "snobby bitch". Jen's been going to clubs ever since she was a teenager growing up on Long Island. Jen won't hesitate to get in someone's face and tell them like it is.
But she is tired of making her friends cry all the time and wants to learn to play nice. Can Hedsor Hall help her discover some humility within herself or is she going to be forever stuck-up?
The Girls of Hedsor Hall | Jennifer
The self-proclaimed "Blackout Queen of North Carolina," Jennifer regularly drinks until she passes out. She claims to have had a tough childhood, and says she was constantly reprimanded by incredibly strict parents. Jennifer is now unemployed and relies on her mom to take care of her bills.
Jennifer knows her wild partying is leading her on a path to destruction, and she knows it, but can't help it. Can Hedsor Hall help her get off the road to nowhere?
The Girls of Hedsor Hall | Jenna
Jenna is a high school dropout from Rhode Island who lives with her parents. She claims that she doesn't need a job since Dad gives her anything she wants. And for those times he says "no," she has learned to lie, cheat and steal to get her way -- plus throwing a tantrum is never of the question.
While Jenna claims she doesn't care what people think of her, she wants everyone to know that she can do something meaningful with her life. She knows she'll have to change her abusive and selfish ways in order to prove it, but is she willing to do what it takes at Hedsor Hall?
The Girls of Hedsor Hall | Kimberly
A bartender from Long Island, New York, Kim is a major league partier. She spends most nights at clubs, doing body shots with her friends and dancing on the tables.
But underneath the tough, party girl exterior is a pretty woman with a solid family who cares about her. Her parents are upset that Kim has squandered her college education and spends all of her time in a bar. Now, Kim is hoping for a change since she wants to prove to everyone that she's not a "total loser."
Can she rise to the occasion during her shot in Hedsor Hall?
The Girls of Hedsor Hall | Lillian
She's a college grad from Dallas with her eye on a Masters degree in psychology, but you'd never know it. A wild, gutter-mouthed girl who parties five nights a week, Lillian is the type who doesn't think twice about hitting on another woman's man at a nightclub.
Lillian knows she's in a rut right now, but she ultimately wants to find Mr. Right and settle down. She hopes that an education in Hedsor Hall will proved the kick start she needs to get back on the right track and back in school.
The Girls of Hedsor Hall | Maddy
Maddy is an attractive girl who feels the need to drink every day. Alcohol gives her a feeling of power, and it doesn't help that she works at a bar in Hoboken, New Jersey. She is a fearless, foul-mouthed punkette who won't hesitate to pick a fistfight with a man.
Maddy is just now realizing how destructive alcohol has been to her life. Can Hedsor Hall save this terrible tart from the perils of the bottle?
The Girls of Hedsor Hall | Margie
Raised on the mean streets of South Los Angeles, Margie is a tough girl who won't hesitate to smack a stranger just for giving her a bad look. Margie's violent temper has led to her getting stabbed, arrested, and once she even sprayed mace at a grandmother.
Margie knows she needs to change her wild ways before she ends up in prison, or worse. But can the instructors at Hedsor Hall help her tame that crazy temper and teach her a little sophistication?
The Girls of Hedsor Hall | Paola
Paola is a striking Texan with high class looks, but low class ways. She's a parent who gave birth at the tender age of 14. Far from having even a hint of responsibility, Paola's been involved in many a bar brawl, with the rap sheet and mug shots to prove it.
She's trying to put her looks to good use by modeling for catalogues, but she habitually shows up late to the shoot. Paola knows she needs to change and hopes Hedosr Hall can give her skills to help her be a better role model for her child.
The Girls of Hedsor Hall | Samantha
Samantha, a Wisconsin native, has a lot of responsibilities as the parent of a 2 year-old son. But that doesn't stop her from drinking excessively and spending many nights out partying.
Samantha's family has given up on the possibility of her ever amounting to much of anything, but this young mother is determined to lead a more normal life along with her baby boy. She wants to give him someone to look up to and a stint in Hedsor Hall could be her one and only chance.
