Can you trust your worst enemy? That is the question that twenty-eight vicious competitors will be asking themselves this season as they travel to the lush jungles of Costa Rica to compete in a thrilling new Challenge: Rivals. These fan favorites will receive the shock of their lives when they learn that their one and only teammate will be their biggest rival! In order to win, these arch-enemies must figure out how to overcome their rocky pasts and compete together for a jaw-dropping grand prize. Over $300,000 is at stake, and these bitter rivals will fight tooth and nail in order to get their hands on a cut of the cash!
However, not every rival pair will make it to the end to fight for a share of the wealth. Teams will live in fear of "The Jungle" -- a mentally and physically exhausting elimination round. Avoiding the dreaded "Jungle" will mean that these bitter enemies must learn to work together, despite their ugly pasts, in order to win challenges. Here's how it works: there will be male challenge days and female challenge days. After each challenge, the winning duo will be safe from "The Jungle." However, ranks will be thinned as the last place pair will automatically be sent into "The Jungle." Their opponents will be selected by their peers in a public forum. These two unlucky teams will battle it out in "The Jungle" for survival. The winning pair will stay in the game to pursue their dreams of victory. The losing pair, however, will be sent home in disgrace. Only the pairs that make it to the end will have a chance at the money.
With over $300,000 on the line, these players must quickly learn to bury the hatchet with their rival or risk losing a shot at the cash. Old tensions will arise and new feuds will form. Partnerships will be tested, romances will blossom, hearts will be broken, and punches will be thrown, as battles rage both on and off the playing field. And in a shocking, mid-season twist, players will be sent over 3,000 miles away to a new location! Those who manage to survive until the end will compete in what is undeniably the biggest, baddest, most treacherous finale in Challenge history - where one male team and one female team will win it all and be crowned champions of Rivals.
Last seen on Duel 2 getting brutally punched in the face by his former Real World: Paris roommate, CT, Adam returns for another
shot at Challenge glory. But has Adam gotten over the notorious incident? Adam admits, "You have to tell yourself that you're
a better person moving forward. I'm trying to get to a place where I can forgive him for what he did and take responsibility
for my part in it. But it is tough!" One thing that Adam can look forward to this season is discovering a Challenge romance.
Real World: Back to Las Vegas viewers barely got a taste of Adam, when he was kicked off for his outlandish behavior. This
explosive twenty-two year old makes his Challenge debut without any worries, promising, "I'm fearless. I'll eat anything.
I'll jump off of anything. I'll do whatever. I don't care if I get hurt or what happens." Fearless, perhaps...but has Adam
left his make-no-apologies Vegas days behind him? Don't bet the bank on it...
Challenge legend Aneesa has won more elimination rounds than most players have even seen. Surviving eliminations is nice,
but winning a final is better, and first place is what this Real World: Chicago alum is gunning for this season on Rivals.
This time around, Aneesa will be forced to cooperate with an old enemy in order to take down a younger, tougher crop of Challenge
girls. Will Aneesa's renowned invincibility get her to the end? Or will a new generation of upstarts prove too much for this
undisputed queen of eliminations?
The self-described "whipping-boy" during Cutthroat, Brandon was constantly sent into the Gulag elimination round. Brandon
promises, "I was used and abused by my team. But on this Challenge, I'm definitely going to play the political game differently."
This Fresh Meat 2 fan favorite has etched out a reputation as a solid, likable player. But when he's paired up with his worst
enemy - a notorious hothead - will Brandon be able to keep his cool?
Camila first appeared on Spring Break Challenge, but the Brazilian native left her mark on Cutthroat, where her outspoken
manner drew the unwanted attention of the house mean girls. Despite verbal attacks and accusations of theft from her female
competitors, this fiery beauty fought her way through seven rounds of competition, proving that she had heart, in addition
to her sassy attitude. This time around, Camila is paired up with one of her former tormentors, and the two will have to put
their differences aside if they want a shot at victory.
The last time we saw emo-beauty Cara Maria, she was finding love with teammate Abram, while fighting her way to the finals
of Cutthroat. A proud only child, Cara Maria boogies to her own beat as can be seen from her outlandish fashion sense, and
pirate-chiq hairstyle. Some have accused this avid horse-rider of being a weak player who rides on the coattails of others.
But this time around she's being paired with a no-nonsense teammate who will not tolerate a slacker for a partner. Will Cara
Maria show enough fire to appease her domineering partner?
Perhaps the most feared man in Challenge history, sexy bad-boy CT enters Rivals with a new attitude, revealing, "I've been
staying out of trouble, surrounding myself with good people, trying to do the right thing and not be a knucklehead." While
CT insists that his dark days are behind him, not everyone is buying his "Mr. Nice Guy" attitude makeover. This Challenge
goliath's mere presence alone will put a target on his back. The men want CT out of the game. And as far as the women...look
for this lady's man to get tangled up in a very messy - and unexpected - love triangle.
Upon hearing that he would return to The Challenge, Davis decided to work on his physique, but the shock of his new partner
left him worried, "I started training like an athlete, but when I found out who my partner was, I knew all my hard work had
gone to waste because my partner is terrible." Since we last saw Davis, he has entered into a two-year relationship, and he
and his partner have just adopted a Pomeranian/Shih-tzu puppy, named "Muffy."
Last seen snatching the championship belt away from Brad by mere seconds on Duel 2, Evan marks his return to The Challenge,
claiming to be, "A little older and a little wiser." But this veteran competitor has made more than his share of enemies during
his dominance on multiple Challenges and there are many players who would consider Evan a rival. So what is Evan's reaction
when he discovers who his rival partner is? Evan confesses, "If he were to fall off a tall building and I was the only one
to see it, I wouldn't tell anyone." Despite his less-than-thrilled reaction to his partner, never underestimate this Fresh
Meat master manipulator.
Evelyn is undeniably one of the most dominating players to ever don a Challenge jersey. Not one to back down, Evelyn asserts,
"Unlike other girls in this game, I don't take a back seat." A fiercely independent competitor, Evelyn doesn't always play
well with others and when asked about her playing style, she admits, "I don't really work well in partnerships and I'm hoping
I don't have a partner this time around." Evelyn will have no such luck this season on Rivals, when she is attached to a partner
with a less-than-stellar track record.
Real World: Cancun alum Jasmine makes her Challenge debut this season on Rivals. What Jasmine may lack in size, she more than

man-hungry ways distract her from the big prize? One thing is for sure, this pint-sized rebel will make her presence known
this season!

she wins or loses, rest assured that Jenn's fiery temper and habit of terrorizing her female competitors will make her a welcome
addition to this season.
Johnny was last seen suffering a humiliating defeat at the hands of CT on Cutthroat. Reflecting on the astonishing elimination,
Johnny notes, "I had the carpet pulled out from under me. But if you feed a banana to a gorilla, you shouldn't be that surprised
by the results." Back to take another stab at the win, Johnny hopes to make the best of his rival partner. We'll see if this
loud mouth, two-time Challenge winner can capture a third victory.
Hailing from the wild, booze-fueled Real World: Cancun, Jonna drove the boys crazy with her piercing eyes and flirty attitude.
But this didn't always sit well with the other female housemates, some of whom saw her as a shady temptress. Jonna plans on
starting her Challenge career by pushing boys to the side and focusing on the money. But things might get complicated when
she discovers that her partner will be a hot-tempered, boy-crazy competitor. Jonna's first outing in the Challenge might prove
to be a rocky affair.
One of the most colorful characters from Real World: Brooklyn, Katelynn is back for her third Challenge, and this time she's
determined to prove herself. But we'll see how she does when paired with her rival, a sometimes bossy player who has accused
her of being "no Olympic athlete." Katelynn is the first to admit that she has her weaknesses, "I don't do so well at heights
and I have a deathly fear of water. And I'm not good at most sports." However, Katelynn insists that her intelligence has
made her a go-to puzzle solver and that her martial arts skills will ensure that she is a force to be reckoned with.
One of the most winning players in Challenge history, Kenny brags, "I have six trips to a Final, three championships, and
two second place wins." Kenny may be used to winning, but he has never been forced to play the game with his worst enemy as
his only partner. When this self-described "Mr. Beautiful" is asked how he will deal with his rival partner, he explains,
"My partner's weakness is his ugly face. No one likes having an ugly person around, but since he's with me, I will project
my beauty on him to help him out." We'll see if Kenny can help his partner out...
Don't let the pretty face on this former model fool you - Laurel has the size, strength and athleticism to give anyone a run
for their Challenge money. Debuting on Fresh Meat II, this Wisconsin native paired with her mentor Kenny to dominate the competition,
only to lose in the final. Then, on Cutthroat, Laurel took no prisoners and spared no feelings as she bulldozed her way through
the competition. But her indelicate approach only landed her with another frustrating second place finish. On Rivals, Laurel
will have another opportunity to clench victory. But when this tell-it-like-it-is vixen is paired with an overly sensitive
partner, tensions will certainly arise...
Leroy partied hard while on Real World: Back to Vegas, but he promises that what happened in Vegas will stay in Vegas, "During
my season, I was into the girls and the drinking, but here my main motivation is the money!" Rookies don't always have the
best track record, but Leroy isn't fazed, "Being a rookie is an advantage because nobody knows me. They don't know what I'm
capable of doing." Despite his sexy, pumped-up physique, the cards may be stacked against this Vegas player. Not only does
Leroy join the game as a rookie, but he has to do it alongside one of his biggest rivals!
She may look fresh off the set of 90210, but make no mistake, Mandi's got heart. Since her last stint on Cutthroat, Mandi
explains, "I'm going through what I might call a quarter-life crisis." Deciding there's no better cure than a hair-raising
competition and a chance to win big money, Mandi is looking forward to Rivals. And while Mandi may find herself involved .in
a romance - or two - it won't be all fun and games this time around, as she's partnered with a no-nonsense veteran with a
penchant for verbally eviscerating any girl who gets in her way. Will Mandi's domineering rival crush her spirit and chances
at winning? Or will she maintain her resolve and clench a victory?
Since we last saw Nehemiah on Duel 2, he has been traveling the world and performing with his band. He returns to the game
with a fresh outlook and a chiseled body. "This time is going to be a little bit different. I'm in a lot better shape than
I was before," Nehemiah explains. A bigger concern for Nehemiah will be getting along with his rival partner. Nehemiah worries,
"I'm pretty spiritual and he plays the game very shady. It's going to be very interesting how we match up." Nehemiah may act
calm and collected, but will tensions with his partner cause him to lose his trademark Zen cool?
Always the bridesmaid but never the bride, Paula has too often been left behind as her so-called allies claim victory. This
Real World: Key West alum has never won a final in her seven seasons on The Challenge. Some blame Paula's losing streak on
her misplaced loyalty for her shady friends. Others blame her tendency to "go Walnuts" under pressure. One way or another,
finally securing victory will mean having to work with a longstanding rival. When asked about her new partner, Paula asserts,
"She is made of greed and she has stolen money from the bank of Paula." Will Paula be able to keep her animosity towards her
rival in check long enough to secure a win?
Veteran player Robin has seen eight Challenges and cultivated a reputation for playing a drama-filled game. This time around,

expects when Robin is partnered with a fellow veteran, with whom she shares an awkward, even cringe-inducing past. Will this
grand dame of The Challenge be able to win and bring a fat cash prize home to her family?

ambulance. However, the Real World: Brooklyn housemate is nothing if not driven and she wants another crack at victory. But

is paired with a notoriously under-confident and unproven partner, will she manage to keep her cool? One way or another, Sarah
will have her work cut out for her this season.
Theresa first appeared in Fresh Meat II, where the Milwaukee resident stood out for her height, athleticism, and fondness
for the boys. But having two seasons under her belt, Theresa now realizes that Challenges aren't all fun and games. Theresa
explains, "You have to stay focused and not just let the social aspect of the game get the best of you." This season she plans
to keep her eye on the ball and steer clear of drama. But Theresa's plans might be thwarted by a loud and scrappy partner
with a tendency to rub others the wrong way.
Since his shocking loss on Cutthroat, Ty claims to have looked to the stars for inspiration...literally. He explains, "I have
fully embraced my new astrological sign - as an Aries - and forged on to new, exciting endeavors in life." But Ty should be
careful - while Aries men are described as adventurous and confident, they are also cursed as being impatient and quick-tempered.
Never one to hold his tongue, this notorious Real World: D.C. hothead is known for pushing buttons and rubbing people the
wrong way - including his rival partner.
After winning Cutthroat, Tyler explains his goal for Rivals, "The reason I'm doing this Challenge is because I want to scale
a mountain! I want to jump off of cliffs! I want to do crazy sh*t!" While Tyler is ready to seek out adventure, one surprise
that he was not counting on was being paired up with his rival, "From a sanity standpoint? Yeah. It's going to be a little
tough." We'll see if this avid swimmer and Real World: Key West alum can take home the gold two times in a row.
Returning to The Challenge after a long absence, Real World: Denver's large and in charge Tyrie is back and hungry for a win.

and Fresh Meat II, Wes returns with his mega-sized ego intact, and his determination to win stronger than ever. But this time
around, he'll be paired with his greatest enemy. Wes is less than thrilled, "He is one of the dumbest individuals I've ever
met." Will former champion Wes pull it together and work with his nemesis to win another Challenge? Or will this alpha-dog
head home with his tail between his legs?
