The answer is simple. Because I said so, that's why.

Now you may have heard about Gwyneth Paltrow's classier, more luxurious and sophisticated weekly newsletter Goop. This is not Goop. Instead, think of Doop as Goop's less-rich, super-cool, totally selfish little brother!

Every once and a while I'll share with you a recipe or two that will probably come from my Grandmother's old cook book. My favourite food is hamburgers and pizza. Trust me, when I share a recipe with you, it'll be good.

Much like Ms. Paltrow, I love good art in all its forms. So from time to time there will be a movie, television show, art exhibit, etc. I'm really into. And when I get excited, I like to share my excitement. It's
very Oprah.

This will most likely come in the form of a song or an album I'm into and feel like sharing with all of you. If you do not like the song or album please refrain from sending hurtful e-mails. I can't please
everyone and am hyper-sensitive.

Sometimes I like to do things. Sometimes they involve going out,sometimes they involve staying in. Regardless, what I like to do is really fun. Hopefully you will think so too.

I'm cheap, so don't worry I won't be telling you to spend $1000 on cashmere gloves. I love a good bargain and have a few places, stores, products and websites I think deserve some support.

Occasionally I'll stumble upon something online that excites me a lot. Like, a lot! Doop's first entry was a DOWNLOAD. The internet (or interweb as my parents like to call it) is a magical place of endless opportunity. Who knows what type of adventures we'll go on!
