Over the past year it has been an absolute honour to act as the Canadian Ambassador for Free the Children, the world’s largest charity of children helping children through education. Having been a member of the organization since I was 12, I have always known that Free the Children did amazing work, providing education to over 35,000 children around the world. But it was on a recent trip to India that I was able to see first hand the unbelievable impact that one school can have on the lives of so many people.

I wanted my signature T-shirt to reflect a very simple underlying philosophy behind Free the Children; compassion. It’s the driving force behind building each and every one of these schools. ‘this is my heart’ is a simple reminder to stop and think about the world outside of ourselves and what we can do each and every day to make it better. With sweatshop-free, eco-friendly manufacturing, and the profits going towards Free the Children, you can help change the world and look darn good doing it!
