'Shut Up and Play The Hits' directors.
'Shut Up and Play the Hits' chronicles the band's last days and show together as a group.
It was on February 5, 2011 that a statement was posted on LCD Soundsystem's official website that announced its disbandment following a farewell concert, which took place on April 2, 2011, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. That farewell concert was filmed and made into a documentary film premiering at this years' Hot Docs Film Festival called, Shut Up and Play the Hits. (more)...

It's been a year of transition for Death Cab For Cutie frontman, Ben Gibbard. Last spring his band released their 7th studio album, Codes and Keys, an ambitious album that deviated from Death Cab's familiar sound. It was on February 5, 2011 that a statement was posted on LCD Soundsystem's official website that announced its disbandment following a farewell concert, which took place on April 2, 2011, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
