MOVIE MINUTE: GET SMART
Steve Carell stars with Dwayne Johnson, a-k-a The Rock, in the big screen adaptation of Get Smart. The ringleader on The Office plays famed spy "Maxwell Smart," and unlike his previous work, the funnyman got to perform some serious action stunts in the flick. "Yeah, it was great, you know, hanging from wires and rappelling off buildings and doing fight scenes with seven-foot-five villains, it's... yeah, it was crazy, fun."\
And as the leading man in Get Smart, Steve shares a kiss with his leading lady, Anne Hathaway. He told us how his wife, fellow Daily Show alum Nancy Walls, felt about it. "She was more upset about the kiss I have with The Rock than the kiss with Anne Hathaway. I think that was confusing to her."
Moviegoers may see more of Steve Carell than they expect in the film, like his butt. "Yes, there was no stunt derriere used. That was in fact mine. No, no, I... it was an unaltered derriere, could not be more proud."
Get Smart also stars Alan Arkin and Masi Oka and it's in theaters now.
DEEP THOUGHT... FOR THE WEEKEND
I'll never forget the time that skunk got under the house and Grandpa went under to get him. Boy it smelled for months. You know, that was the last time we ever saw Grandpa.
