What a wicked weekend!
There were people from over 40 different Countries competing in the World Mountain Bike & Trial Championships.
There are 4 mountain biking disciplines to this competition; Cross Country, Downhill, 4X, and Trials.

Fans line up along the mountain to watch the Cross Country Finals

Tom tries out Downhill… it’s intense.
We hooked up a helmet cam & the footage looks AMAZING! You’ll get a chance to see just what kinds of obstacles he’s in for. Will he bail? Or make it through? Watch MTV News at 6:26pm EST on Wed. Sept 15th to find out.

Going into a cloud towards the top of Mont-Sainte Anne. Not the best visibility, especially for mountain biking. Watch out for those trees!

Tom talks to SCHICK driver JR Fitzpatrick. JR Fitzpatrick raced back-to-back in BOTH the Canadian Tire Series and the Nationwide Series this weekend.

J.R signs autographs for his fans before his big race on Sunday.

(below) - Andrew Ranger Quebec native and favourite among the Quebec fans. Also, J.R’s rival on the course.

JR Fitzpatrick… #1 J.R leads in points for the Canadian Tire Series.

JR Fitzpatrick suffered early on in the Canadian Tire Series race with mechanical issues. Fortunately so did DJ Kennington who is right behind Fitzpatrick in points. Fitzpatrick was up by 16 points infront of Kennington before Sundays Canadian Tire Series race.
JR managed to limp it out and finished 18th while Kennington was only able to complete 14 of the 28 laps and finished 28th. Fitzpatrick has increased his points lead in the series to 51 points… and theres only 3 races left. WAY TO GO J.R!!
Rival, Andrew Ranger placed 1st in the Canadian Tire Series although he still can’t keep up with JR in the points.

J.R Fitzpatrick finished 7th in the NATIONWIDE series race.
In third place was Jacques Villeneuve, in second was Max Papis and first place in the Nationwide Series was Boris Said.

Tom helps hand out SHICK Hydro razors to NASCAR fans. Smoothest Shave EVER.
